Introduction
African Museum, Arts, & Cultural Center(AMACC) aims to preserve, celebrate, and share the arts, history, and cultures of Africa and the African diaspora through exhibitions, education, cultural programming, and community engagement.
Client Need
African Museum, Arts, & Cultural Center(AMACC) required a logo that would represent the museum and become the face of its brand across print and digital marketing materials. The identity was designed to complement the existing African Economic Development Solutions(AEDS) brand guidelines while establishing a unique visual presence for the museum.
Logo Design
The development of the African Museum, Arts, & Cultural Center(AMACC) logo began with understanding the museum's mission, audience, and connection to African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS). Through research, concept sketching, and exploration of visual elements inspired by African art, culture, and community, the goal was to create a logo that was both meaningful and adaptable. Each stage of the process refined the identity into a mark that reflects AMACC's purpose while maintaining visual consistency with the AEDS brand.

Final Logo Selection
The symbol is a geometric outline of Africa with a diagonal line with a simple typeface called Domus Titling Light. The colored symbol to the right is inspired by the colors on the textured banners of AEDS website homepage.
